Bowl for Kids Sake 2013
Event Details
There were good things happening at the Robbinsdale Lanes bowling alley on Saturday April 27th. The entire Team at Common Cents came through once again collecting pledges totaling $32,000. I was both impressed and grateful for everyone’s participation and outstanding pledge totals. It was quite satisfying to witness what we can accomplish when we get behind a great program like the Big Brother Big Sister program.
Gillette will receive the honors with the largest pledge total of $7700. Bell Fourche raised $4807, and LaCrosse raised $2753. Spearfish, Lead, Wall, and the office all raise over $2000 per location. Individually Tabitha Palmer (Gillette) raised $1965, Richard Paige (LaCrosse) raised $1850, and Amanda Fantarella (Gillette) raised $1442 as the top three individual. Many other stores raised over $1000.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in the United States. They have been the leader in one-to-one youth service for more than a century, developing positive relationships that have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young people. Big Brothers Big Sisters mentors children, ages 6 through 18, in communities across the country - including yours.
The Big Brothers Big Sisters Mission is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with mentors that have a measurable impact on youth.
I would personally like to thank all of you for participating in this year’s event. With out your help we could not make dreams come true.
